Annie Wersching Bio

Annie Wersching was born March 28 1977. She is an American actress. Her roles include Renee Walker on the American television series 24. Motion capture and voice work was also used for Tess in the videogame by Naughty Dog The Last of Us. Wersching was born in St. Louis, Missouri and was raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She attended the high school of Crossroads College Preparatory School in the Central West End of St. Louis and graduated in 1995. During her youth she took part in Irish dance, and was a part of the St. Louis Celtic Stepdancers. She has completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in musical theatre from Millikin University, graduating in 1999. Wersching's acting journey began with a guest appearance in Star Trek: Enterprise. Then, Wersching was invited to appear on guest shows such as Charmed and Killer Instinct. She played Amelia Joffe, a recurring character on ABC Daytime's soap series General Hospital from March 2007 to November 2007. Other credits in the theater include Victory Gardens, Marriott Lincolnshire and Utah Shakespearean Festival. Wersching has also been seen in a variety of guest roles on shows such as CSI, NCIS and Rizzoli and Islands Hawaii Five-0 and Body of Proof. In 2014, she appeared as a series regular for the first season of the Amazon Prime crime show Bosch. Wersching was the National League's catcher on 2009's Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game. In December 2012, it was revealed that Wersching played the voice actor and mo-cap actor of Tess in the PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last of Us. Her character was teased via Geoff Keighley's account on Twitter before she was seen in the trailer shown on Spike Video Game Awards on December 7, 2012.In September 2021, it was revealed that Wersching was to play the Borg Queen in the second season of Star Trek: Picard.
