Lil Yacthy

Lil Yacthy, is a musician, rapper and music producer, best known for his hit single "One Night'. Miles Parks McCollum, his real name is Miles Parks McCollum. He is also famous under the nicknames Nautica Boat Boy and Lil Boat. The mixtapes he released, 'Summer Song 2' and 'Lil Boat was his first big hits. However this wasn't his first performance as a singer. His singles "One Night" and "Minnesota" were his first public recognition in August 2015. Both these were part of the debut EP (Extended Play) known as 'Summer Song'. The artist currently has labels such as 'Capital Records,'Quality Control Music' and 'Motown Records under his belt. Yachty has collaborated with numerous prominent rappers, including 'D.R.A.M. and "Chance the Rapper. Yachty sells merchandise through his official website. The site offers glimpses of Yachty's private life as with information about his upcoming concerts as well as tours and performances. This website and Yachty's social media pages are many details about Yachty's music and daily life. Lil Yatchy worked at McDonald's during his time at Pebblebrook Highschool. He was able to meet other producers and rappers at McDonald's. Yachty began attending Alabama State University as a graduate student, but quit after two months. Right from his growing up time, Yachty was inspired by music that was unique and was a break from the norm. He was inspired by his father, who shared with him many kinds of music. In 2015, he adopted the name "Yachty" and moved from Atlanta to New York, in order to make it big in the world. He stayed with a close friend in New York and searched for opportunities to join the music industry. He also began to connect with street fashion photographers and eventually gained an impressive following on Instagram. He made a deal with Burberry Perry (producer and beat maker) and his primary collaborator, K$upreme. They're referred to collectively as "The Saling Team" and they worked with Lil Yachty in her bedroom. His initial success came after Drake's OVO Sound Radio aired his hit track 'Minnesota'. The song "1Night" was Lil Yachty’s first major success. The track's video was put to YouTube and quickly became a viral hit. He was the center of media focus when his SoundCloud version of "One Night" was used in an online meme.
