Big Time Rush
Big Time Rush is an American boy group
that is specialized in pop music. It was formed in 2009. The group is composed
of Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow, Logan Henderson, and Carlos PenaVega. They
first signed with Nick Records in 2009. Then, Columbia Records transferred them
to their new label. They appeared in Nickelodeon's telecast series, Big Time
Rush. The show aired from the beginning of November 28, 2009 until July 25
2013. The premiere episode featured the group's debut promo single, "Big
Time Rush". The group recorded three albums, BTR in 2010, Elevate 2011 and
24/Seven in 2013. The band went on an indefinite hiatus in 2014 that lasted
until 2021 when the group resumed live performances and released their single
"Call It Like I See It". Nickelodeon signed Big Time Rush to a
recording deal in 2009, concurrently with the television show Big Time Rush.
Nickelodeon has also teamed up with Columbia/Epic Label Group for production
and original music. The series' debut single, "Big Time Rush" was
released on the 29 on the 29th of November. The song was officially announced
on Nickelodeon, it first aired in the U.S. November 2009 and was later
broadcast across the world. It debuted during a preview of the series. It is
currently the show's theme. There were promotional singles made available by
the show, which included "City is Ours" (with Big Time Rush) and
"Any Kind of Guy". Big Time Rush also covered the Play song
"Famous" The song was written by the singer. It was released on
iTunes on June 29, 2010, Another song, "Halfway There", was released
to iTunes on April 27, 2010 following its debut in the series. It was their
first song to chart on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at 93 thanks to the sales
of digital music. On September 21 on the 21st of September in 2010, Big Time
Rush released second single "Till I Forget About You" in promotion of
the release of their debut album. The album, BTR came out on the 11th of
October on the 11th of October, 2010. The album debuted at the top of three on
the Billboard 200. It sold 67,000 copies within its first week.
