Beyonce Giselle Knowles was born on
September 4, 1981, in Houston, Texas. Her mom, Tina Knowles-Lawson is the
designer of their glittering costumes, and her father, Mathew Knowles, manages
Destiny's Child. Solange, her sister (they're four years apart) has released
her debut album. She dances with her big sister at DC-3 concerts. Beyonce is
Louisiana Creole & African descent. Whitney Houston discovered her and
her group. Lovefool, by The Cardigans, is her most listened to track. A pair of
metallic path boots for work is her absolute favorite piece of clothing. She
writes & produces many of the group's songs including smash hits
"Jumpin Jumpin", "Bootylicious", "Nasty Girl",

Irish as well as her maternal side is a distant Breton-, Spanish-, Indonesian-
as well as Chinese roots. It has been reported that she created a stage
personality named "Sasha" to overcome her shyness.
