Lil Tecca

Tyler-Justin Anthony Sharpe was born August 26 2002. He is also known as Lil Tecca. His fame exploded with the release of his 2019 single "Ransom", which was a top 4 hit on the Billboard Hot 100. The track was released on his debut mixtape Love You Tecca (2019) that peaked at number 4 on the US Billboard 200. The mixtape also included the singles "Love Me", "Did It Again" and "Did It Again". The debut album of his studio, Virgo World (2020), debuted at #10 on the Billboard 200 and included the Billboard Hot 100 chart-topping songs "Dolly" as well as "When You Down". The second mixtape, We Love You Tecca 2, was released in the month of August 2021. It included "Repeat It" and "Lot of Me". Tyler-Justin Anthony sharpe was the child of Jamaican immigrants. He was born on August 26, 2002, in Queens, New York City. Sharpe was raised in Springfield Gardens a neighborhood of Queens and later moved to Cedarhurst in Long Island. Sharpe had always hoped to be a part of the NBA as a child However, at the age of 12 he decided to pursue a career in music. Sharpe graduated from Lawrence High School. Tecca was just nine years old age when he started rapping on his Xbox. They would create diss tracks directed at one another that was uploaded to SoundCloud some time ago, but has since been taken down. At first, he did not have any plans to pursue a career in music however, he had a dream of becoming a NBA star. He started taking music more seriously after the time he stopped playing basketball at the age of middle school. The first single he released, "Tectri", which has gained some attention in early 2017 was made in collaboration with and released by Lil Gummybear. He also released "Callin" as one of his first tracks. Tecca's career exploded a year later when he released the smash single "Ransom", which was released to Cole Bennett's Lyrical Lemonade YouTube channel on May 22 the 22nd of May, 2019. The song reached the top spot at 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and has received more than 900 million plays on Spotify and over 300 million views on YouTube.
