Allyson Felix

Allyson Nicole Felix was born on the 18th of November the 18th of November, 1985, at Los Angeles. Paul Felix served as an ordinand in Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix's athletic talent was apparent from the time she was enrolled at Los Angeles Baptist High School. At her first attempt and placing within the top two places at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships in the 200-meter sprint in only 10 weeks. Felix completed high school in 2003 and became a part of Adidas an agreement as professional athlete. In the following year, she was a student at the University of Southern California studying elementary education. Her first Olympic medal came at the 2004 Summer Olympics which took place in Athens Greece. Felix set a world junior record for running 200m in 22.18 seconds. Felix was also the youngest winner of the 200 meter in the world championships held in Helsinki in 2005. She defended her title the following year, beating her long-time Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix was a frequent competitor in Beijing, London Rio de Janeiro, and Tokyo. She always finished at the top of the podium in all events.
